Koo, M.D., FAPA, FASAM, FCTMSS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Martha B. Koo, M.D., LFAPA, FCTMSS, FASAM, is double board-certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine, a psychoanalyst, and a certified psychedelic-assisted therapist. A pioneer and leader in the field of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Dr. Koo was an early adopter, adding TMS to her private practice in 2009. Currently, Dr. Koo is the Chief Medical Officer of Your Behavioral Health (YBH), a multi-site, insurance-based behavioral healthcare company that offers a full continuum of care for adolescents and adults with mental health and substance use disorders, from medication management, individual psychotherapy, and TMS to intensive outpatient, residential, detox and long-term aftercare. With a strong background in human psychodynamics, psychological theory, psychiatric medicine, and neuroscience, Dr. Koo has dedicated her career to community, academic and professional advocacy for the advancement of psychiatric treatments.
