FDA Expands MagVenture TMS Indications to Treat MDD, OCD, and Anxious Depression with One Coil<\/h2>

MagVenture TMS Therapy\u2122 system has been FDA-cleared to treat Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with comorbid anxiety symptoms in adults. This allows providers to treat adult MDD patients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, a highly prevalent and clinically challenging population.<\/p>\n\n

Also newly cleared is broadened coil compatibility across both MDD and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), now allowing for treatment of either condition using any one of the three treatment coils.<\/p>\n\n

This clearance will provide effective and non-pharmacological therapy to adolescent patients, supporting a growing clinical demand for alternative depression treatments in younger populations.<\/p>\n\n
