This Privacy Statement is designed to explain our practices regarding collection, use and disclosure of information we gather through our website located at https://magventure.com/ or our mobile applications (collectively, the “Site”).
By using the Site, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. The current version of this Privacy Statement is dated above.
Information We Collect
Automated Data
“Automated data” is data that is collected through electronic/automated technologies such as cookies, web beacons (also known as pixels) and log files. We collect the following automated data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on certain pages, and other statistics.
Automated data may be collected when you watch an embedded YouTube video on our Site. Our Google Analytics 4 account is set up to track how users interact with our videos (e.g., when they press play). We do not use other tracking pixels, such as the Meta pixel, for video tracking. You can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ads Preferences Manager.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers and business partners use cookies, pixel tags, and other similar technologies (“Cookies”) to collect and process certain Personal Information about your interactions with our Services. A “cookie” is a small data file sent from a website and stored in your browser to identify your device in the future and allow for an enhanced personalized user experience based on your previous activity on the website. A “session cookie” disappears after you close your web browser or may expire after a fixed period. We have grouped several types of cookies in this category: analytics (to improve performance), advertising (to deliver personalized ads) and social media (improve performance and deliver personalized ads). We use tools like Google Pixel to analyze user interactions and deliver relevant ads on third-party platforms. These tools collect IP addresses, browser/device details, and page visit data. Personal Information
We may collect the following types of “Personal Information” directly from you:
- Your name, email, phone number, and mailing address
- Your account credentials if you create an account in the “webshop” located on our Site
- Payment details for purchases made through the webshop
- Information collected when registering with our mobile application, including contact information, company, industry and occupation
- Any other personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us
- Automated data, as described above, which may be considered Personal Information
How We Collect Your Personal Information
You may voluntarily provide your Personal Information through any of the following methods:
- When you activate an online account to purchase products through our webshop
- When you order products through our webshop
- When you access and/or otherwise interact with our mobile app
- When you contact us for more information, support, and/ or to opt-in to receiving our newsletters. You may opt-out of any newsletters and certain other email communications by using the opt-out link in the email.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We use your Personal Information for the following purposes:
- To process and ship product orders
- To provide technical and product support
- To send you our newsletters (from which you may opt-out at any time)
- To otherwise provide our services and administer our Site
- To conduct marketing and analytics activities
- To conduct internal business operations
Restrictions On Use and Disclosure; Third Party Contractors; Webshop
We do not sell your Personal Information for monetary compensation. However, we may disclose your Personal Information under the following limited circumstances:
- We may disclose your Personal Information to trusted third parties who assist us with payment processing, hosting and support of our Site and our products, analytics, order fulfillment, and marketing.
- Our webshop utilizes WooCommerce extensions, which may collect additional Personal Information, such as city and zip code, and share relevant information with our third-party providers (e.g., payment gateways and analytics tools), to enhance your purchase experience and fulfill transactions securely.
Other Required Disclosures
We may disclose Personal Information if required by law, in response to court orders or other legal requests, or to protect our rights. In addition, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale, your Personal Information may be transferred to the new entity.
Retention, Storage, and Security
We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, to comply with our legal obligations, and to enforce our agreements. We may also retain such Personal Information for archival purposes. We implement reasonable security measures, our employees are trained yearly on HIPAA compliance, and we do not retain physical records of your Personal Information.
We are committed to the protection of the information covered by this Privacy Statement, and use reasonable measures to maintain appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures and safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use or disclosure of the information we collect via the Site. Although we and our vendors take reasonable steps to protect Personal Information, no internet transmission is ever completely secure or error-free.
Protected Health Information
We do not collect protected health information (PHI) as covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Privacy Act. If you are a healthcare provider, any data shared is used strictly for business interactions.
Guidelines for Children
Neither our Site nor our products are intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors.
Social Media & Third-Party Services
Our Site may include social media features (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). These third-party platforms have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
