Dr. Álvaro Moleón Ruiz, M.D
Psychiatrist

Dr. Moleón has served as Medical Director of the Andalusian Institute of Brain Health since 2021, where he leads the Brain Stimulation Unit. In this role, he applies advanced neuromodulation techniques daily, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), and transcutaneous Auricular Vagus Nerve Stimulation (tAVNS), supported by cranial MRI-guided neuronavigation.

He is a published author and researcher, his research focuses on the therapeutic management of affective disorders through accelerated neuromodulation protocols.

Dr. Manuela Martín-Bejarano García, Neuropsychologist

Manuela Martín-Bejarano García holds a Ph.D. in Medicine (Cum Laude) from the University of Cádiz and is a licensed clinical psychologist with over five years of experience in clinical psychology.

She is accredited as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with more than ten years dedicated to neuropsychology. She has actively participated in clinical and research projects at both national and international levels.

Dr. Martín-Bejarano currently serves as Research Coordinator at the Andalusian Institute of Brain Health (IASC), specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

Dr. Claus Mathiesen,
Medical Application Scientist

Dr. Mathiesen has been a part of the MagVenture family for nearly a decade and has background in brain imaging, neuro-physiology, and pharmacology academic endeavor. 

Prior to joining MagVenture, Claus has worked in roles including Senior Scientist, Post doc Fellow, Medical University of Copenhagen, Department Head for in vivo Physiology, Pharma-Biotech, and was a Research Scientist in vivo Electrophysiology Pharma-Biotech.
