Dr. José Ricardo López Melgar is a psychiatrist based in Guatemala with extensive clinical experience in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and neuromodulation.

He served as President of the Guatemalan Psychiatric Association (2023–2024) and is a member of international organizations including:

As Medical Director of Mental Health Center TMS Guatemala, he has led the implementation of clinical approaches integrating precision psychiatry and neuromodulation technologies, working with multidisciplinary teams and international collaborators.

His experience includes over 10 years of applying TMS in a psychiatric clinic setting, with a focus on practical implementation and clinical workflow integration.
